Exceptional dinner, wish I could remember everything we had but it was all fabulous. I specifically recommend the rocket salad with dry-salted sliced beef. Also the seafood appetizer with sardines, calamari, shrimp, and creamy cod. Lovely setting away from Canal Grande was perfect for an evening walk. Came back to Venice on our way home and came straight back here.

Al Parlamento is a very nice place to drink, as it has a dark and chill atmosphere. However, if you are looking for Italian food, look elsewhere. We ordered the Ravioli and Pizza. Both dishes tasted like we could order it back in the US. The pizza lacked the traditional Italian sauce and cheese, and the ravioli were rather flavorless. If they are serving American food, they should say so.
I rate the place three stars instead of lower because the food wasn't bad, it's just not what we came to Italy for. We ended up taking the pizza home and adding some great Italian Formaggio and enjoying it anyway. -

Such a great place. It's not a huge establishment, but the vibe was great for a little pub. It looked a bit hipster and the food was excellent. Best pizza I've had all week.
Our server was great, too. He was helpful and very accommodating. Absolutely recommend this place. -

This restaurant offers al fresco dining and a great view of the canal while you dine. We followed our way through a few residential streets and found this cute restaurant, away from the insanely packed bustle of the main city core.
Pizza, pastas and alcoholic drinks were all on point here. Lots of locals inside, an indication that it's not made just for the tourists!
Plus... they take credit cards! -

We were starving after the airport and found this adorable spot right on the canal - and just steps from the front door of our hotel. The food was even better than my photos could capture and the service was equally as amazing! Prices were also very reasonable, and the atmosphere is very romantic at any time of day.
